Are there any adjustments you make during your cycle? More water? Time of day? any thing that you’ve noticed – loss of balance or similar during your cycle?
Hi Deb
You’ve been quite a busy gal! I woke up this morning and found all your posts. Welcome to the forum.
I notice you have 2 posts for the same subject. So I am copying and pasting your other comment here and so you’ll have menstrual cycle answers in the one place! Hope you don’t mind.
Here’s what Deb said:
Anyone notice any differences to their menstrual cycle? My cycle has always been problematic (I won’t go into the details but my acupuncturist says my chi isn’t strong enough). I was just wondering…

Gabrielle 🙂Hi Deb
I know there are other posts about menstruation on the forum. Have you discovered them yet?
They detail poses that you may want to avoid (if that feels right) and ways people deal with their practice in general.
Take a look at: Hot Yoga During Menstruation, Hot Yoga and Heavy Periods, or just put any word (such as menstrual, menstrua or period) into the search box.
Magnesium is great to take to handle cramps, hydration and electrolytes in general help. And skip a day if you need to. There is no need to power through pain and exhaust yourself.

Gabrielle 🙂Hi Deb
I was looking for something else I found this one with the word ‘menstruation’ misspelled. It had no ‘u’ so you would likely have not found it easily.
