    Hi There!

I found Bikram a year ago and did it for 40 days straight (sometimes twice a day) and loved it. Then, I allowed life to take over and lost my mojo due to my schedule etc. Thankfully, I am back and today will be day #3 and I am taking my daughter with me. She will be 15 in about a month. I did some initial research online regarding a minimum age and asked the local teachers yesterday and apparently it is ok for here to join the class with me.

For me, Yoga is all about balance and quieting my mind. I would love to give this gift to each of my 3 daughters eventually. I wish I found it 30 years ago… 🙂

    Thoughts??

I have been doing hot yoga for about 6 momths.

I have 3 sons 20, 17, and 15. My middle son is pretty athletic,, and has played sports all his life, including contact such at ice hockey, rugby and box lacrosse.

I took him to a karma/community class offered by my studio, and he really enjoyed it. He started bringing a couple of female friends from his high school, and they all enjoy it!

On Father’s day my studio did a “bring your father for a free yoga class, and we went together. It was 90 minutes, and the instructor really pushed us, with some new variations no-less. (i do Moksha, which has more variations and the teachers often mix things up)

When he came out, he said t was the toughest thing he had ever done in his life!!

Now i have to try and get the other two out!!!

    Thanks for that.

Today will be day #3 for Jordan and her friend, who is 15 came with us yesterday as well. Paige, my 13 year old daughter is contemplating joining us this morning. We will see…

I have been explaining to them that anything we do that is out of our comfort zone really help us to grow. This is so much better for them than Facebook, Twitter etc… Lol.

I am in the process of teaching my girls aggressive self defense but this is has taken the center stage admittedly. I was a full contact fighter for years and as your son explained, this is the toughest workout I have ever had…

    Thank you again for sharing.

    Keep the mojo going!

    Hi Billy

So, tell us! How has it been going? Is the family still going to yoga together? So wonderful to get everyone there. Maybe you now have some thoughts to share.

    Namaste
    Gabrielle 🙂
