    Hello,

I have been reading this forum for a while, bought hot yoga master class book and love it! This is my first time posting on this forum (joined few days ago 😉

I wanted to know, what is considered best duration time for hot yoga? I personally love and enjoy the classic Bikram 90 minutes class and am very lucky to practice at a studio that teaches 90 minute classes (only one in the area, in a sea of so many studios). But at where I live, pretty much all of the other studios offer only 60 or 75 minutes hot yoga classes.

Is there a stark difference in experiencing benefits depending on how many minutes you practice the hot yoga? For example, I have gone to few 60 and 75 min classes and they take out some poses and do only one set of some poses. Also, the poses are held shorter than 90 min classes.

If anyone can enlighten by shedding some light to this topic, it would be much appreciated.

Also, do some studios cut hot yoga classes shorter for $ reason? Meaning being greedy…

Thank you very much in advance.

I like longer classes, it feels as though we are able to stay on the edge of the zone before the cool down for that whole 10 or 15 minutes extra.

I really like the 75 min format the best.
