I just tried out a new yoga top and it was so great that I wanted to share it here. I am pretty busty and struggle with finding the right top. I recently ordered one from Athleta that has a built in bra that fastens in the back and everything (not just a little piece of elastic–like that’s really going to help :-S ).
Anyway, it was SO comfortable and I was able to focus on my class rather than tugging my top around to provide adequate coverage.
I like a good amount of coverage as well.
Some of those little bitty tops look like they could snap off and fly across the room like a rubber band!
Enjoy your practice.AnonymousGuestJanuary 4, 2010 at 1:46 amPost count: 98My biggest issue with yoga tops is that they assume we are all little itty bitty flexy bendy college girls. And they cut the tops accordingly. I can get them to fit in the bust BUT then they are baggy on my body. I am also busty and can’t BEAR the low cut on the sides that every freaking top seems to have. It is like the designers think: size 10 MUST have a B cup. This isn’t so and I hate it! Thanks for the advice and great find!
They look great! Does anyone know if they can be found in the UK??
As a busty woman, I have also struggled for a long time finding a good bra. I finally found one that is perfect! It is the Ta Ta Tamer at lululemon. I am a DDD, and wear this bra for yoga, spinning, and running. Its extremely supportive, and keeps me perfectly in place. It also has cross straps, so you can wear with almost any tank.
