    Hello

    I have been practicing Bikram about 3-4 times weekly for a few months. I plan to start a 30 day challenge and i would like to be prepared. have been retaining fluid in my ankles and feet. I imagine that I may be having a problem with electrolytes. My weight fluctuated 5 lbs. on an almost daily basis. i am not overweight and am pretty healthy. I have also be craving salty food that i can usually avoid. Do you know what I can do to avoid this being a bigger issue and affecting my challenge?

    FYI: thank you for this forum. I enjoy reading the forum and have gained much insight from the posts.

    Hi Abby

    Actually I think you need to stop avoiding salt. Take sea salt. Take electrolytes. Take something to balance your body’s needs. You may be mineral deprived.

    Please also take a look around the forum about challenges. In a nutshell, 6 days out of 7 (optional 7th day, but available as a rest day). See why!
