Hi Gabrielle,
Firstly, thank you for your excellent home practice kit ! I’ve been practising Hot Yoga since 2007 but for the last year, due to time/travel constraints, I practise at home in my “yoga room” Your website and home practice kit is a “daily fix” for me, THANK YOU. It’s so easy to find excuses not to go the studio and let other commitments get in the way, so even a 30 minute practise keeps my “awareness” cultivated.
About 10 months ago I developed complications due to a large posterior fibroid on my uterus. Long story short, my abdomen gets very swollen and bloated at times leading to discomfort in certain yoga postures. I read the following on line :
Women with large, heavy fibroids should approach yoga as if they were pregnant.
Never having practised yoga while being pregnant, I imagine this refers to the discomfort I feel in “floor bow” ? Any advise would be most welcome and appreciated!
Namaste
