This is a common question. Thanks for asking.
You have of course, come to the right place. In my opinion and my personal experience, there is no other comprehensive yoga system that does what you ask better than Bikram Hot Yoga!
When you practice Hot Yoga your body systems tone up and function better. Somehow you start to make good unconscious decisions about food choices. Students often lose weight without trying, not just because of the exercise itself, but because they instinctively prefer to eat a healthier more balanced diet. For me the urges disappeared naturally and straight away with my very frequent practice.
The mindful attention to your body in any yoga practice will have a similar affect to varying degrees, depending on the style, the frequency of practice and the meditative effects of the chosen style.
For me, Hot Yoga takes the cake! What a corny pun. 😉
