I started and came to love Hot Yoga in May 2012. Practiced 4 times a week for two months and felt good. In parallel I did a lot of salsa dancing and some deep leg bends during Crossfit (functional training) classes. In July, after a wonderful salsa dance class for 2 hours with lots of turns my knee protested loudly. After that it took ten weeks of complete rest and two weeks of anti-inflammatory medication to get to standard physiotherapist rehab training. The knee is stably getting much better for every week and I am happy for that. BUT, I wonder how and when I will be able to get back to the Hot Yoga practise. How do I adapt to not being able to sit or stand on my knees and not being able to firmly lock my knees? I do not want to wait for another half a year before going back to Hot Yoga practise.

    Hi Anette

Have you managed to get back to yoga yet? You posted at the time of a bereavement and I just didn’t get around to any posts back in September and October.

Can you tell me where you’re at?

    Namaste
    Gabrielle 🙂
