Hi Gabrielle and everyone,
I recently returned to Bikram yoga practice after taking a year and a half off due to chronic hives (which were exacerbated by the heat). I was a regular bikram practitioner for about two years prior to then (3x per week). I’ve been to a total of five bikram sessions within the past two weeks and now I have sore knees. This is a brand new symptom for me and odd because I was practicing regular yinyasa flow during my time off from the hot yoga. During class, there was no sharp pain or even any discomfort in my knees so I was surprised to feel soreness for the very first time.
My question is: Should I take a break from bikram sessions and allow my knee soreness to go away before returning?
