    Hi there,
I am 26 days into my 30 day bikram challenge, first 3 weeks I was making much progress and feeling very happy, energised, and improving my practice. The last few days howevre I have been struck with extruciating lower back pain, especially after any of the forward bends (which I have started to ease off of since yesterday). Its not only in the class but out of the class that I am suffering. I am devastated as I was making so much progress and now am really struggling!
Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. Apart from this sudden back pain I am so happy with my practice, but it is starting to consume me!
    Thankyou.

    Hi Corinne

Your challenge is over! How did you go? have you rested and recovered yet? Or have you still got that horrible pain in your back?

It is possible that you have a tight and weak psoas muscle that is causing the pain in your lower back. That is one reason and it’s quite common!

You could also have been physically exhausted. I hope you’re feeling better.

I apologise for not getting back quickly! Putting the final touches on my teacher training course which starts in 9 days and I am running a little behind with forum responses!!!

    Namaste
    Gabrielle 🙂
