I have done 8 straight classes with a 30 day challenge goal. I am having some tingling on my fingers and found that my elbow is sore. is there something that I can do to alleviate this….is this normal. I do have carpel tunnel so not sure if this is related to it but I was not having the numbness and tingling so bad as I am currently expereinceing

Hi Maria
Welcome! So, carpal tunnel syndrome is associated with numbness in the fingers and sometimes hand in certain places. If you have carpal tunnel syndrome then perhaps there is a connection. But I am sure it has nothing to do with your elbow.
Can you please tell me more about this sore elbow? When does it happen? Is it as a result of any particular movement or action? Say, for example, does it happen when you lock your arms out? There is quite a lot of that happening especially at the beginning of class.
If you look up tingling on this forum you’ll find lots of ideas about electrolyte lack. Is your issue bilateral?

Gabrielle 🙂Thank you for your prompt response. Before the yoga I have lived with the carpal tunnel and have numbness on occassions but I am having it all day since maybe day 6. the elbow is not sore I have just been massaging my arm in the hopes that it will alleviate the numbness and notice that when I touch my elbow it hurts so I am not sure it associated. Know I dont even know when it happens cause it is all day long. I do feel the tingling and numbness more on the right hand that I do on the left hand. the numbess is on all fingers but more pronounced on the index and middle fingers.
I have avoided doing the Locust Pose – Salabhasana(Sanskrit) cause I think that it might be aggravating my situation.
