hello,
I was painting for 3 weeks, was feeling good, practicing also 3x bikram a week, and suddenly I wok up with a terrible dizinness, I had to lay still in my bed for a whole day.My doctor told me I had been doing too much, and the position of the head by painting is not good, so I had to rest. After a week I had it again, not so seriuos, it was gone after sleeping for 2 hours. What to do now?? I’m afraid that it will come back by practicing bikram yoga, because you move a lot with your head too. Do I have to wait until my balance organ is normal again? My bloodpressure was normal and I practice bikram yoga for 4 years already. I really did too much and I had also a little bit of stress.
Thx a lot!!Mich
Hi Mich
Were you house painting? That’s what I assumed! 😉
It is possible that you simply needed to rest your body and your neck. Stress perhaps enhanced the issue.
Do you take electrolytes or perhaps sea salt? Were you dizzy and losing balance or just dizzy?
How are you feeling now and can you give me any more details please?

Gabrielle 🙂Hi Gabrielle,
Yes, it was house painting:-) I was dizzy and losing balance, it was like a trip around the world with nausea.I feel fine now, but the first week after the dizzyness I was tired. Someone told me that the crystals in my ear did move because I was too much moving up and down my head by the painting. I was just taking since 3 weeks chlorella and spirulina, nothing else. And 1 day I did paint an afternoon, then I went to a bikram class and after the class again painting for 3 hours. Was it too much??? I am still taking care about the movements with my head so I am wondering if I still have to wait practicing bikram or not. The doctor prescribed me to take revitalose, it’s vitamine C and 5 amino acids. I always listen to my body and I am just wondering that I was not really feeling tired during this painting weeks, because the yoga gives me energy, but now I have a double feeling. I like the bikram yoga but I am not that enthusiastic to start again wit the yoga, a little bit scared that I am practicing too much.
Thanks a lot for answering me so quickly
Mich
Hi Mich
It occurs to me that it could be the head position and muscular involvement and it could also have to do with the fumes of the paint.
Have you finished painting yet? And if you have, what difference is there now?

Gabrielle 🙂hello Gabrielle,
I have finished painting and did a bikram class again. I had no dizziness anymore . I still take care not to move too much with my head, I think that it has to be with muscular involvement and I probably did too much.
Thank you for your answers!Mich
Hi Mich
Take care to keep contact with hands against chin on both the inhale and the exhale in Pranayama. And please take care with your shoulders by relaxing them down and back away from the ears. This will have an enormous positive effect on your neck. Just don’t push anything. It sounds as if you’re back on track
