    Hello,

I’ve been practicing yoga since November 2019 and I have gained 10-15 lbs since then. I would practice 3-4 times a week and sometimes 5 but it’s kind of bothering me since my weight keeps on increasing every time I check it on the scale. I stopped checking for about a month but decided to check it yesterday and I gained another 4 lbs. I have noticed more toned and lifted butt and wider hips and I think my waist got smaller but my arms and face seem bigger. I’d say my eating habits is okay – I could improve at it but I honestly don’t think it’s enough to cause my weight gain especially with the amount of work out / exercise I’ve been doing the past months.

I was thinking if it could be because of water retention or imbalance in my electrolytes? I drink about 2-3 liters of water on weekdays and maybe 1 liter on weekend. Could it be that I’m drinking too much water? I don’t use any himalayan salt / electrolytes supplement since I’m not really familiar with it. I just started reading about them here when I searched earlier why I am not losing any weight.

I really love yoga (especially hot yoga) but I need to figure out what I’m doing wrong so I can correct it. Can someone please shed me some light?

Thank you so much in advance!
