I’ve been working out at a gym 3 times a week. I started hot yoga recently. Is it okay if I continue going to the gym or should I stop.

    It’s all okay.
If you want to mix it up that’s great. Play with it. Try doing more yoga and less gym, and back and forth see which seems best to you.

    Hi folks

I have a little something to add :cheese:

The balance you decide on depends really on your goals: short, medium and long range ones. For example your goals may concern cross-training, you may be aiming to lose a lot of shape fast, or you may want to tone up and get healthier. Each of these may necessitate a different balance.

    Have fun

what I found interesting when I started yoga was how it TOTALLY changed the other ways I trained.
As I did more Yoga my goals, body and needs were clearer and diff than before. AS is the WAY i train now. I used to go into my workouts with ….. Arnold S. mentality and totally kill myself. now…… I “breath in through my nose and out through my nose” and when I applied that frame of mind i am challenged, enjoy myself and leave my work outs refreshed and…… I get better results and am seeing more out of my other training.
