Hello, I will be going to class about five days a week. I would like a “Just Breath Mat” but washing it amost every day seems like kind of a pain. I have also heard that some mats are toxic, so I’m wondering what my best option is. Thanks.

I bought the Aurorae Yoga Mat / Towel, “Synergy” from Amazon. It’s a mat and towel together. I wash it about once a week and it seems to be doing fine. I put it out on the patio after each class so it can dry in the fresh air then wash it on handwash/delicate cycle once a week. I go to 4-5 classes per week.

It looks and sounds interesting. Is it machine washable? Seeing the top part is bonded to the bottom makes it harder to wash in the machine? Can it be separated? Is it a one-piece design or two pieces (top towel and bottom mat) bonded together? Is the bottom part of the mat open or close cell construction? I got tried of using studio’s mat that I recently invested in a Manduka Black Mat Pro. It is a bit heavy but with good cushion support. The only thing missing is a good towel. What towel are you using?

I just put the entire mat into the washer about once a week and put it out on the patio to dry. I wash it on delicate cycle.

Its nice having the towel fused to it so it doesnt bunch up. I don’t need another towel with this mat.
