I have been practicing for about 6 months. I do the full class in a hot room. It seems that the better I feel I am positioned (both hips on the floor, hand behind me on the floor close to the spine to hold me straight, I cannot grab my knee with my opposite hand so usually grab my towel). To the best of my ability I feel I am set up correctly and no instructor has ever told me different. I am just concerned that all the popping and movement I feel in my lower spine isn’t normal since it causes pain. Thank you so much for your quick reply. I appreciate any advice you give me.
