    Hi guys!

Thank you Gabrielle for your suggestion. I have already downloaded some ambient/relaxation music and so far it has been one night good and two nights bad again. My gp did run some tests but didn’t find anything. I also think this could be my thyroid but i thought that yoga was supposed to help and not the other way round. Something must have started moving in there and my body doesn’t like:-(

    Hi guys

thanks to all of you for your advice!

It might be just a bad habit but it’s not easy to stop thinking about it when I get into bed.
It would be dedinetely nice if you could recommend some relaxation music as I don’t have a clue abou this kind kind of music.
I am currently doing 5 classes a week and to be honest it is hard to say whether there is a difference in falling asleep between the days I do yoga and the the days I don’t.

    Thanks

I also forgot to mention that I don’t take any medication. I tried valerian tablets for insomnia a couple of months ago but they never worked so I stopped taking them.

    Thanks for your reply Gabrielle!

I am working in hospitality so that means i usually do late shifts ( occasionally morning – once a week) so i tend to practice either at 10 or 12 in the morning. I used to listen to music or read before sleep but nowadays i am usually so tired that i go straight to bed ( no shower) and hope that i will fall asleep. It seems to me that what keeps me awake is not thoughts but my body that is kind of buzzing and my heart rate goes up too.

    Thanks for any ideas
