Hi Gabrielle and thank you so much for your sage comment. I had thought there would be responses from the experience of many others. I can only imagine the demands placed on your time with the running of this site, your practice and all the other exigencies of life; the idea that you would take time from what must be a difficult schedule is very much appreciated.
While not back to “normal”, I feel that I am healing. When I received your response, the soreness was isolated to a narrow band at the top of my right hip. When I am extremely active, especially later in the day, pains generally to the right of the coccyx appear. However, it disappears after resting. As always, epsom salt baths and massage are very helpful. This pain is similar to the initial one but with much less intensity; hence, my belief that I’m on the mend.
I am currently doing no regular exercise, including yoga, for fear of reinjury. I plan to restart yoga with the exclusion of the 3 balancing postures in a week or two.
I am hopeful of spending time on your valuable site to further explore your yoga/fitness wisdom. Some of my questions have already been answered and wisdom shed on aspects of the postures even with the little time I’ve spent to date.
Thanks again for your generosity! Please don’t feel a need to respond. I think the ball is in my court to bring myself up to speed with the wealth of info on the site and your course.
With thanks and warm regards, SS
