Hi Cindy, I’m 62 years old and just graduated from the 2012 Hot Yoga Doctor teacher training in Costa Rica. I’ve been back for slightly over 6 weeks and have just finished converting one of my bedrooms into a hot yoga studio that can accommodate up to three students for under $800. I have also developed all of the new student information packets and registration forms. I’ve been teaching my wife since I came back and am now getting ready to accept my first students. I intend to accumulate about 100 hours of teaching in my small studio and then possibly branch out and either expand into another location or buy an existing studio. My motto – if you really want to do something, you can always figure out a way to make it work. Bill in Oregon.

I personally see no reason why a greenhouse cannot be used, particularly if you can regulate the temperature and humidity, as well as provide a hygienic environment. I’ve just finished converting one of my spare bedrooms into a studio that will accommodate three students. I’m using a 240 volt floor heater and two small radiant heaters – it takes about 1 hour to warm up the studio to 100 degrees F. I also installed three 6 foot tall by 4 foot wide mirrors.
