Thanks for the tip. I am going for class in a few hours, so will change my grip and stance like the example you have given us.
However I am still getting pain in my left hamstring when i am doing exercises like Standing Bow Pose and Balancing Stick. Even doing the situps where i am tugging at my feet at the end movement, I can feel a slight discomfort in that area.
Anyway I am going to class now, will make the change you have recommended and see how I feel after class.
