    Hi Gabrielle. Thanks for your quick reply.
    I did know that the instructor was there. She helped with my foot placement and then guided my shoulders into the pose. It was on the second twist (to the left). I don’t know if both my hips were firmly on the ground. I try to be aware of that, but at the time I’m not sure..
    I did see a chiropractor two days ago. He did some muscle work and I feel like I’m on the road to feeling better. Hopefully will be able to return to class next week. That will be two weeks off. I know that I will have to be super aware of how I’m feeling and not push to hard at least in the beginning.
    My only activity right now is walking. Trying not to do too much as I’m afraid this may aggrivate the situation. Last week I really couldn’t do anything but walk without pain. Nothing was really relieving the pain. I haven’t tried any exercises to relieve the pain. I will try the child’s pose and look back at my emails to find the one you mention regarding exercises to relieve back pain.
