hi, i checked my breath today and i was relaxed, breathing. i can handle the dizziness but i found it strange that all of a sudden this started to happen…i will see if it persists. i think when i go deep i must really stop the blood flow in a few areas…including pelvic floor…

in reply to: metal taste in my mouth #8064well for me it is not pine nuts because i haven t had those in a while. the taste only lasts less then 5 minutes in class when i am in a postures….
will continue researching thisif anyone else has this or knows about this or someone who has had this..would love to hear from you!

i have arthritis for a while many years. It is most at the feet, toes. When I heard of Bikram yoga, i thought i would try it. it has been about 10 months and i have been coming around 3x times a week. yes i am sure it is arthritis. I get pain daily and some days are better than others. mostly awkward part 2 is the one that i have a hard time with.

i have a menuscus problem. Doctors say i should operate and i would like to know if i can continue practicing bikram yoga. i am a boxer. i was thinking to stop boxing so much and do bikram yoga more regularly in hopes of healing it and then eventually go back to boxing!
what are your thoughts?

when i do the fire breath, the last breathing exercises, the teacher says that my abs should hurt and if htey do, it is good…i feel nothing! is that normal?

when i do the rabbit posture, i only feel the vertebraes of the back of my neck and sometimes the ones of my lower back when i lift my hips up towards the ceiling…i want to feel the vertebraes of the middle of the spine too and i don’t. am i doing something wrong. my forehead touches my knees, my elbows are locked, my heels touch each other….
help!

when i do tree pose, by holding my foot from underneath, my hips being so tight,i can only bring my foot so high hence my shoulders and hips are not in one line…what should i do. i try hard to lift the heel towards my hips..but it just won t go there. what should i do? -
